Christopher W. Kinum is a 1991 cum laude graduate of Bowdoin College and a 1994 cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law.
For over 18 years, Mr. Kinum has devoted his professional practice to passionately and tenaciously litigating a string of high-stakes cases. Many of Mr. Kinum’s clients have had their lives drastically impacted by catastrophic personal injuries, wrongful death, improper business conduct, or overreaching criminal allegations. Mr. Kinum’s practice places particular emphasis on securing justice for his clients and treating clients the way he would a friend or family member.
Mr. Kinum has litigated a wide variety of substantial and complex matters including catastrophic construction and workplace accidents, §1983 excessive force and false arrest cases, nursing home malpractice and abuse cases, medical malpractice cases, traumatic brain injury cases, product liability suits involving defective and unsafe products, premises liability cases arising from inadequate security or a fall, significant truck accidents and serious motor vehicle negligence actions. Mr. Kinum also engages in commercial litigation involving Civil RICO and business torts and has defended individuals, professionals, and businesses ensnared in government investigations involving allegations of insurance fraud, securities fraud, tax fraud, and public corruption. Mr. Kinum was recognized by Trial Lawyers Care and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America for his work representing families who lost loved ones in connection with the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack at the World Trade Center. He has served as a Barrister in the Seton Hall University School of Law Inn of Court and is an active member of the American Association for Justice – New Jersey and National Chapters.
