Electronic Discovery

Electronic discovery (“E-Discovery”) has become an integral and expensive aspect of complex civil and criminal litigation that is fraught with potential risks. The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and often in complex commercial disputes in State Courts' Case Management Orders, mandate production of large volumes of electronic information and metadata in specific formats. CKL has extensive experience in identifying, preserving, processing, reviewing and producing all forms of ESI (electronically stored information) in many different formats in both civil and criminal matters. CKL also advises clients on the scope of their duty to preserve ESI and crafting legal hold policies. Additionally, CKL has experience arguing significant E-Discovery motions on behalf of its clients in numerous forums.

CKL’s experience enables the firm to respond to E-Discovery demands in an efficient and, more importantly, cost-effective manner for its clients.
