CKL regularly advises corporate and non-profit clients on potential risk and consequences of criminal referrals and the advantages and disadvantages of cooperation under the Department of Justice Guidelines, Sarbanes-Oxley and other agency guidelines. CKL is also regularly retained by Corporations to represent Officers and Directors during criminal investigations. CKL also advises Special Litigation Committees in Shareholder Derivative actions.
