Edmund DeNoia


Edmund “Eddie” DeNoia has been practicing law at CKD since becoming an attorney in 2003. Prior to working as an attorney at CKD, he worked as a legal intern for the Supreme Court of New Jersey and a law clerk for CKD’s predecessor firm, Michael Critchley & Associates. Eddie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Seton Hall University School of Law.

Eddie has dedicated his practice to defending individuals falsely accused of crimes. His extensive criminal defense practice includes defending individuals and corporations charged in federal court, superior court and municipal court. No case is too large or too small.

His past successes include defenses of individuals and corporations charged with various crimes such as Racketeering, Extortion, Mail Fraud, Wire Fraud, Obstruction of Justice, Perjury, Robbery, Kidnapping, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and numerous other alleged violations of the law.

Eddie’s unique business and technology background allows him to merge “old school” legal practices with cutting edge technology both in the courtroom and during trial preparation. Eddie is not limited to handling criminal matters in New Jersey. He has been admitted pro hac vice to represent clients in various federal courts in jurisdictions such as New York and Illinois. Recently in 2012, Eddie secured the dismissal of Obstruction of Justice and Perjury charges against a member of the International Longshoremen’s Association in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. The client was one of the more than 120 alleged members of organized crime arrested in January 2011 in the nationally publicized arrests. (Click link to opinion) Similarly, in a 2011 New Jersey Superior Court case, Eddie secured a pretrial dismissal of charges against a bus driver accused of endangering the welfare of a child by not properly performing his duties.
